Two days after the release of Windows 10 October 2018 update, forums and websites advise users to avoid downloading it until Microsoft has patched some serious issues.
Apart from complaints about slow loading setups and disappearing files and apps, The Register reports on a compatibility issue with a range of Intel Display Audio device drivers which leads to CPU usage shooting up and batteries dying very fast.
The most significant problem however, according to their article, is probably the fact that mapped network drives do not reconnect automatically.
